All classes limited to 12 students, unless otherwise noted.
Beginner/Intermediate classes are oriented towards personal growth, building skills and fun. They are also an introduction to performance and public speaking. No previous experience is needed.
Intermediate/Advanced classes have a performance emphasis for the actor /improviser /storyteller /speaker in training.
We offer advanced students the opportunity to perform regularly. Some previous training needed.

Tired of letting your fear squelch your innate creativity? Want to feel comfortable speaking to a group?
We'll focus on circumventing the inner censor and finding freedom from inhibition, using techniques that facilitate imagination, concentration, connection and trust. You'll receive personal attention to address your own particular strengths and challenges. Deep fun!

This challenging class provides an opportunity to deepen and expand performance skills. Some experience needed.

SUMMER PERFORMANCE INTENSIVE
A 4 day (25 hours) workshop culminating in a performance of
FULL SPECTRUM IMPROVISATION at THE MARSH Theatre in S.F
Thursday July 17 thru Sunday the 20th - Performance: Monday, July 21, 7:30 p.m.
Beyond comedy “Improv” this training activates full emotional and physical range to create IMPROVISATIONAL THEATRE of authenticity and substance. Working in pairs, ensemble and solo, we practice expressive movement and voice, theatre games, acting technique, creative collaboration and exploring personal material.
The Intensive is an opportunity for those with substantial experience to expand their performance skills, for those with less training to saturate themselves in this form and for all to deepen intuition, presence and ease on stage. There will a focus on meaning, character and narrative, discovering stories that may be repeated and developed. You will receive careful, supportive attention to explore and address your own particular strengths and challenges.

SOLO PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP WITH JOYA CORY IN SAN FRANCISCO
Next Solo Series starts early September
Nine 3.5 hour classes plus one All Day Sunday
Limited to 6 participants. Culminates in (optional) performance at The MARSH Theatre, which will be videotaped. Tuition: $410.
A course in creative process, technique and form enabling you to develop your original material and shape it into a performance piece. We will work with improvisation, movement and vocal skills, acting technique and writing exercises, to free your own vision. This workshop is designed for all levels of experience, drawing from each person's inherent strengths.
